In "Florida's Night Out" at the beginning of the episode, Michael mentioned that Thelma gets excited every time Earth, Wind, and Fire comes to town. So then, Thelma sanged the tuned, "That's the Way I Like It" But KC and the Sunshine Band sanged that. The writers could have just put KC and the Band in the script just so it would make sense with the chorus Thelma was singing. Just something I peeped and decided to point out.

That was probably a writer's faux pas. Keep in mind, most of the writers were middle aged and white. They probably didn't keep up with the latest music. lol

I'll say that's a blooper. Some sort of confusion with Earth Wind & Fire's song, That's The Way Of The World.

I was just about to mention "That's The Way of the World" but Janice beat me to it. That was indeed a very good song. I'm partial to EWF's "September" because my birthday is in September, and "After The Love Has Gone" was #2 on the Billboard Top 100 the day I was born. "Can't Hide Love" is a good one, too.

I think she was just singing the song, because had someone to take her guy wise. Michael didn't understand how she did and that's when she sung the song. I don't think it had anything to do with the show, but I always wondered if she went since Florida ended up going out with Wilona that night.
