How many people on this board babysit? if u do what ages? I babysit infants to 5th graders, only 5th if the parents will be gone a while. I'm babysitting right now a 18 month year old a three year old and a 10 year old. Oh god Amy (18 month) woke up got to go.

I babysit...thank god everyone in our town is like super rich!! Once I got 60 bucks from 6-11PM and the kids went to bed at 9, so it was mostly sitting around...it was awesome!!

I usually babysit older kids, becuase I'm reallllly nervous around babies.. the youngest was 3 or 4 I think..The oldest was 11..

I babysit sometimes. But i only babysit kids ages 4 and under but mostly 1-2.

Me and my brother used to have a babysitter in the 80s and one day she must have been in a foul mood!

I came home and she put me in my room and I didnt do a thing!!

I stayed in there until my dad came home from work.....

Mothers and women in general have a natural knack. I took care of children for about 3 yrs after I lost my last corporate type job, the company was cleaning house and got rid of some of us older folks.....so I got out there and did FT and PT childcare and some babysitting .... and one New Years Eve I took care of 2 children and made $135 for the few hours of sitting. Living where I do there is high demand for reliable child care providers. In the FT work I was making $500 cash for 5 days for 1 little boy.

Ya I guess girls do have an advantage.....
