Not knowing the culture or area that user was asking is from I can't laugh...

Many don't know, but a lot of movies have alternative titles as language barriers, change the wording on things
When English films are released in foreign countries, it's often difficult to translate the titles exactly. Often the translation is embellished, or the English title must be changed so that a more accurate translation is made because of our use (or misuse) of grammer. To my knowledge all of these translations are correct, I did not make this list up nor grab it off of unreliable websites. I obtained the majority of them from language education sites where examples were made of translations when teaching. But you know, I can't guarantee the accuracy of all of these - it's very difficult to find any kind of source on the net that contains this information.
But its a good example

English Chinese
As Good as it Gets ---Mr. Cat Poop
Fargo --- Mysterious Murder in Snowy cream
3 Men and a Baby" ---Marx, Lenin & Mao change a diaper
The China Syndrome ---American Nutballs
Nixon --The Big Liar
Boogie Nights -- His Powerful device makes him famous
The Full Monty --Six Naked Pigs
The English Patient ---Don't Ask me Who I Am
From Russia With Love -- 007 Averted the Spy Plot
Vampire in Brooklyn --I Suck, I suck, I suck suck suck
Babe, Pig in the City -- I'm well behaved because I want to go abroad

English French
From here to Eternity As long as there will be men
Dumb & Dumber The dope and the idiot
Bad Girls Luscious women of the West
Fried Green Tomatoes The secret is in the Sauce
Big Small Man
The Matrix The young people who traverse Dimensions while wearing sunglasses

So? Im not perfect

Well what does whether you're perfect or not have to do with the title of this thread?

Nobody was trying to diss you. The title was just funny is all.

I don't know. It just looks funny to me because I've always heard the title of this movie my whole life, so thinking of it as The Eyes Have Hills is just humorous to me. But if you've never even heard of the movie, then you wouldn't think anything of it anyway. Plus, I can see how hills would "have eyes", but I don't understand how eyes would "have hills".

It's about a family on a road trip who get stuck out in the desert, and the hills are filled with a family/relatives/people who are all mutated and generally warped because the area was used for radioactive testing years before.

The original is a Wes Craven film from 1977, which spawned a sequel and now most recently a remake which was in theaters earlier this year. I'm pretty surprised you've never even heard of it before.

Oh, extremely. It's really graphic. Although I've known about the original for as long as I can remember, I haven't ever seen it. I've only seen the remake...and as someone who watches a lot of horror movies, there were things in there that even made ME squeamish.

The original is awful compared to the remake. The only reason I watched the original is because Dee Wallace Stone is in it.
