View Full Version : The closing credits to Mr. Belvedere at Zippy Videos!!!
megamanj2004 05-15-2006, 07:48 PM Ladies and gentlemen, another thing from this show besides the opening credits are the closing credits that I found at:

Richee 05-15-2006, 08:39 PM Remember the original production ad at the end? You know the one.. with the camera spining around a guy who was typing on the typewriter, then he rips the paper out, it flies in the air and then covers the screen with the name of the company that co-produced it?
TALLguyinKY 05-16-2006, 03:32 AM I loved that production ad! As soon as I read your description of it I was hearing its music in my head, lol!
The man in the ad is Stephen J. Cannell, for Stephen J. Cannell Productions/Cannell Entertainment.

Richee 05-16-2006, 04:09 AM Ah.. cool, thanks! Interesting little fact.
Remember this one.. 'sit boo-boo, sit. good dog *woof*'

Stephen Cannell was never involved w/ this show.

That was the UBU Productions Company from Family Ties and Spin City.
And also remember this one:
"Good night, Mr. Walters!" (Mr. Walters grumbles) "URRR!"
Richee 05-16-2006, 01:50 PM Which ad used to be at the end? Was it the violin one?
megamanj2004 05-16-2006, 07:27 PM Which ad used to be at the end? Was it the violin one?
It might of been the Steven Boccho one, I'm not sure, since I haven't seen this show since it's original ABC run.
Wait a minute, there was never an additional closing logo other than the
"20TH CENTURY FOX LOGO"
Richee 05-16-2006, 07:46 PM No I think there was something else.. i'm sure of it.
There is a chance I am wrong, but I'm 99% sure i'm right.

If it was, then it probably has to be the violin logo from Steven Bocchco's Prodcution Company (the same guy that gave us L.A. Law, NYPD Blue, and Doogie Howser, M.D.).
I only remember seeing the violin logo at the end of Doogie Howser and NYPD Blue, but not on Mr. Belvedere as Bocchco had nothing to do w/ Mr. Belvedere.
Richee 05-16-2006, 09:27 PM Hmmm, dunno.
But thanks for posting the ending credits.

No problems, Richee!
McFly121 06-12-2006, 09:13 PM Yeah, I have 100 eps of this show from the original broadcast days, and there was nothing beyond the Fox logo. The Stephen Cannell thing used to air after "Hunter" I think. And, yes, UBU was after Family Ties and Spin City.

The only thing that's different of Mr. B's closing credits is that they plastered the '80s 20th Century Logo w/ the current lame one.
The Stephen Cannell logo ALWAYS aired after Hunter and always came after the Universal logo at the end of The A-Team.
But in the case of Hunter, during reruns in the early '90s, a logo company called "Televentures" used to come after Stephen Cannell's logo and the Televentures logo was followed by the Columbia Television logo (the logo w/ the torch lady holding a bright torch, btw.) Nowadays, whenever Hunter is reran, there is no Televentures logo or CPT.
Just cheap-wad Sony plastering their annoying logo over both logos and any Columbia Pictures Television logo that Sony owns the rights to.
