JOLIETTE, Que. -- A four-year-old Quebec boy died Monday after drowning in an inflatable pool.
The pool had just been set up for Mother's Day on Sunday.
The boy was discovered face down by his mother at the family residence in the Lanaudiere region northeast of Montreal.
Paramedics revived the tot and took him to the regional hospital in Joliette before he was transferred to Ste-Justine Hospital in Montreal.
He later died.
The boy's mother had to be treated for shock.

When will parents learn that they constantly have to watch their children.
Too many young kids are dying because nobody pays attention to them.
