Welcome to the world of Paramount. Every single set they release which doesn't have Star Trek in the name is like this, atleast the quality is usually acceptable. Depending on sales maybe CBS will make them add extra's. I know CBS forced some magic on Charmed Season 8, but that seems to be the only set improved the merger. Terrible job on this set Paramount.

I too am disappointed there are no extras. However, at this point, I'm just delighted to at least be able to have the actual show on DVD, after all this time, and with every other conceivable show for sale. Hopefully in the future, if this sells well, they will put in some goodies.

I couldn't agree more. Extras I can live without (although they would be nice to have). I am glad to have the set, but man oh man is the video quality crappy. By far the worst I have seen.
I think the problem is that Paramount tried to fit way too much on way too few discs. 7 episodes on one DVD? Absolutely crazy. I think it is because they do not believe it will do well, and in order to drive up their profit margin, they tried to squeeze two seasons onto 4 discs. I knew it was going to be a problem the moment I opened the set.
Glad to have them, but dissappointed by Paramount's lack of effort and cheapness.

I'm not surprised by the picture quality or lack of features. Remember: Wings is the show that gets no respect, no respect at all. Scrubs is #2 on my list of great shows that get treated like garbage. At least Scrubs didn't have to wait so long to get a DVD release.

I'm shocked at the poor quality of this first year release . There are alternate sources of this and other poor quality dvds out there not to mention offshore bootlegs which I have never bought nor would I suggest doing so! I think one solution would be to either wait for the reviews to come out or to rent from NETFLIX before spending that hard earned cash. The studios must know that they are throwing us merd and it is nobody elses fault but their's. They shouldn't be able to hold us hostage with vhs quality dvds simply because they know we want them so badly . Maybe it has something to do with hoping we'll re-buy in HD. I ,for one, won't be buying any more sets until I see what they look like. Do they think we're idiots? ARRGHHH!

I didn't even notice the video quality is bad... That's what I love about having a 22-year-old, 19-inch TV in my bedroom. The resolution is so low, you can't tell when something looks crappy. ;)

It's the same for me. When I first got the DVD, I played it on my 42 inch TV. However, the TV's going through some problems and is taking time off (don't ask) so I'm back to my 20 inch TV. I popped in "Wings" and thought to myself "This doesn't look bad at all!" When I watch my USA tapes, the first two seasons always looked a little crappy compared to the other seasons. If the rest of the seasons are like that, I'll be upset. But right now, I'm just basking in the joy of having part of the show on official DVD. :)
