I was wondering if anyone knows what episodes on TGG - Season 5 are edited??? If so, what episodes are edited and how many minutes?

I don't know, but what "proof" do ya'll have to say Season 5 is edited?? I want to hear it from an OFFICAL person such as Buena Vista! Has that been announced??

Even so, maybe just one or two episodes we're edited for some reason. Maybe they lost the original prints or something.

Actually, there is one scene that's cut from the DVD that I remember from the NBC airing. In the episode where Blanche gets a pacemaker, there's a scene where Sophia is asking why they got rid of the microwave. I don't understand why this isn't in the episode, but anyway.

There's a lot of scenes that Prime cuts out of it's airings (at least when CBC aired the reruns in the 1990's, they were uncut and unedited). I'm still pleased with this set.

72 hours is supposedly edited.

I contacted tvshowsondvd.com and asked them if some of the episodes are edited or if they are all the original uncut episodes and they said they contacted Buena Vista and Buena Vista said they're looking into it. Hopefully we will hear some news real soon.

Movie12: Great idea! I never thought od contacting Tvshowsondvd.com. I think Buena Vista may has done this accidently. I don't think they ment to put Edit eps. on this Season. If they did they would have just said to tvshowsondvd.com "Yes, they are edited". So please post with more info on this when you get some.

I think just 72 Hours is edited, also.

Well, I e-mailed www.tvshowsondvd.com, and they e-mailed back saying "They asked Disney about this".

I didn't realize any of the episodes released on DVD were to be edited...

I didn't ethier, but at least disney is looking into it. That way we can clear all this up.

I just don't know what to believe. It seems like alot of people are saying some of the episodes are edited and some people are saying all the episodes are the original uncut episodes. Who really knows until Buena Vista lets us know. Hopefully we will hear something about it soon.

I hope Buena Vista will post it on there offical website www.ultimatedisney.com This website talk all about releases from Buena Vista. So hopefully we can all clear this up. If the eps. are edited, I bet you Buena Vista will not do it on Season 6.(hopefully Not)!

Maybe when we hear some news from Buena Vista, they will let us know when Season 6 will be released on DVD.

I'm hopeing that we will find some info on Season 6 very soon. I have a feeling that they aren't going to release 3months after Season 4 like they have been doing. I'm hopeing that season 6 will have even better Bonus Features than Season 5 did. Hopefully we will find out soon.

I'd rather have season sets out every six months. If Season Four had come out in May, that season would have had the commentaries. Then maybe Season Five, Season Six, etc. would have had better bonus features. Also, the disc art started to look like crap when they took off which episodes we're included on that disc, etc.

Yeah I don't really like the glossy stuff on the Discs. I miss the epsiode titles on the Disc & on the flap I miss how they don't put who wrote it. I know you see it on your screen, but I like how they did that for Seasons 1&2.
