View Full Version : In season 5 & 6, there was no need for everybody to call Bookman, "Buffalo Butt."

He was so nice and sweet in the final two seasons that it really didn't make any sense for anybody to make fun of him. It really made the cast seem mean. I can understand when James was around and Bookman was cold and mean, but not the later seasons.

Nice and sweet, I wouldn't go far and say that. I will say he mellowed though, and the fat jokes were getting stale. Bookman did try to help Willona adopt Penny, though it backfired, he showed he had a little heart.

Espcecially by season 6, You would have thought they gotten past that name calling by then

He was a jerk when he gave all that junk for James to fix. Even at James funeral he was a jerk. He became sort of part of the family by the end of the show though.

He was invited to Thelma's wedding. He was in a tux. The name-calling was kinda like the JJ and Thelma banter, always putting each other down. Once in a while, but not every episode.

I would think so, Bookman did become more loveable by season 5. He was always trying to help the Evans' and Willona. Granted, he screwed up a lot, but his heart was always in the right place.
