abt 30 minutes into the hour long show on the E Channel, they are showing celebs being rude or not wanting to speak to interviewers on the red carpet at different red carpet occasions. Imagine my shock when I see Jimmie Walker in a black tux (looking fairly good if I may say) and an interviewer from MOVIETIME asks Jimmie, "Can you please say a few words to Movietime?" and Jimmie responds, "NO, not really." and just walks away.

I'm surprised he did that, he seems like the type that would talk to people. I'm gonna watch for that since those things are usually on 50 times a week, lol. Thanks for pointing out that it's on about halfway through, always good to know when to look for stuff :)

This is the same guy who reportedly told a fan, "My condolences" when she said, "I loved Good Times and I loved you on that show."

This is the fan's exact quote

Title-Why I dislike Jimmie Walker

"Been a fan of this show for as long as I can remember. Can even say some episodes word for word (truly sad). So you can imagine how thrilled I was a couple of years ago when he was performing standup at a local comedy club. His standup rountines were supposedly so funny and raunchy before he was asked to join the cast so I had high expectations. The show was good, he had me cracking up. After the show, you had an opportunity to meet and greet and I was of course, THRILLED. I even bought one of his crappy t-shirts he was selling and had him sign it.

When it came time for me to meet him, I started by telling him what a great show he had and that I'm a die hard fan of the show. This dude cuts me off and says, "My condolences". I was like, "What?" Then he basically moved me along in the line of 2 other people that wanted to meet him.

I was so let down. Was being on the show not a good experience for him? I didn't get what that meant. It made him a star. What gives?

I watch him now while he mouths the words while the other actors are saying them. It's very subtle but you can catch it a lot. Watch the one with "Sex and the Evans Family". He does it like 4x when he's talking with James. So he wasn't that great."

When did he do that? Was that from the 70's or recently? I know the actual red carpet show is recent, but when did Jimmie Walker say that? I am curious.

It appeared to be recently. He wasn't young. I have heard of MOVIETIME, but not sure what it is. The interviewer had a mike with the words MOVIETIME logo on it and it was at a red carpet appearance for something, I was trying to figure out from the background. You know how red carpet events usually have the event name on a background banner? well, I was trying to see what it was but I was so blown away by his rude comment. I will have to check it out again on E!
