They'd better not mess up with the audio like on season 3.

I won't be holding my breath, though.

I think it's a nice looking cover but would have prefered another cast photo like season 3 or at least a picture of the girls from season 4 instead of season 5 which that photo is.

Eh, it looks alright. I think the big picture of Jesse and Rebecca squeezed in looks a little awkward though. I agree a cast photo probably would have been better. At least they used season-coordinated pictures this time.

Just curious, why isn't this coverart in the coverart topic of this forum, then that way instead of creating a new post with a different title, it woulld be in the same one.

But it looks good and it looks kinda awkward for them to be squished in together Jesse and Rebecca and the girls. Why not a cover more like season 3 or them in the middle?

I really don't mind the cover design for Season 4 but there are however a few things I like to see changed before Aug. 15th

The pictures of Joey, Danny, DJ and Michelle is from Season 5,
The pictures of Rebecca and Jesse came from Season 7,
The picture of Stephanie however is the only season 4 photo there, which I like.

Your thoughts.

What a terrible cover art, they could have done the coverart like Season 3...is it me or is Jodie's picture photoshopped? If they keep doing this coverart for the rest of the seasons, Season 3 will be the best coverart....

I'm not the biggest fan of that cover art, I would have preferred a cast picture. But, I'm just happy we are getting Season 4 faster than we got Season 2. :D

That cover is awesome. I'm glad Becky is on there. She really should of been in the season 3 cover.

Yeah, you're right, but she was not in every episode maybe if she was then she would've been on Season 3 cover, some of the episodes were shown without her if you remember in Season 3. She was shown more in season 4 I guess that's why they put her on the cover of season 4.

Gross. I don't like it. I'm a bit disappointed with WB, they're capable of much more. This isn't some "One Hit Wonder," it was and still is a very popular show. It's like they're only dealing with this show in their free time and with that time they're doing a sloppy job. It's not that hard to use some cast pictures, or season coordinated pictures. Ugh.

Petitioning them worked well last time. Isn't there a site where one can peition about such things?

Do all DVDs have the extras listed on the back? That's kind of late to decide on the extras, but it's possible they're still doing them.

What makes me think there still could be extras is that "run time" is listed as 676 minutes on the amazon.com listing. It's only 536 minutes for the 2nd season. That could be a maximum, however.

Finally, let's not forget that they are putting this out *4* months after the last season. Most other shows are put out with extras, but they also take longer to come out. I think the time element is a problem here to *some* extent. That might not be all of it, surely they could have come out with something. (like the compilation of Joey's impressions for season 3, which I liked.) However, comparing it to, say, the Dukes of Hazzard sets and the lengthy comments about the Dukesfests, filming, cast discussion, etc., is a little unfair.

That being said, with more time elapsed they should have able to come up with something more than they did for the 2nd season. I think they're rushing it because it is so popular.

Sorry to reply to myself, but yes, www.petitiononline.com would let us do it. i'm not doing it because I don't have time to handle the e-mail involved. However, here is good language someone can modify a bit (you can also write them at 4000 Warner Blvd., Burbank, not sure of the zip.)

--------------------------------------------
To the people at Warner Brothers:
We are shocked at the small amount of extras included in the last few DVD sets of "Full House," included the lack of extras on the fourth season. We insist that before putting out another DVD you include extras. These can be montages of things such as Joey's comedy from the 3rd season, but should especially be cast and creator comments and other items. Relating it to real life is also important - we recognize that if it were real life, D.J. and Stephanie would be the "parental authority" to Michelle, as no adult disciplined her till she was almost four and she was much better behaved in the first three seasons than if nobody had disciplined at all. So, extras showing her sisters correcting her and/or punishing whenever she misbehaves - or at least telling how it was done - would also be very appropriate, and placate many who feel she "got away" with so much.

We know this show is popular, and you are trying to hurry things becasue fans demand it. However, we do not appreciate DVDs with no extras at all. If your TV people cannot handle things, we would even take a Full house cartoon - an expansion of what was done with the season 3 extras would be fine. Surely, your animators had a part in the add-ons there. Put them to work on a wholesome, family friendly cartoon showing something between scenes. That shouldn't be too hard.

Either way you do it, we insist that you include extras in future "Full House" DVDs.
--------------------------------

Feel free to modify a little, but that's basically what I'd recommend. (Yes, a cartoon sounds weird, but I would truly rather have that than nothing. And showing a cartoon version of D.J. or Stephanie scolding Michelle off to the side sometime when she says "duh" to someone would actually be the best way to make it true to real life, and how some older siblings to end up as the "parents" in single parent homes where it's just the dad.

I'm actually more concerned that once again, the DVD's will (from the looks of it) feature mono sound rather than the show's original stereo sound. Just like the season 3 DVD's. This sucks. :(

whoever is desgining these covers really sucks at doing it. the season 3 one was the best, and even that one was horrible. they all look like a random kid decided one day to make a full house blend so he got random pics and stuck them together *-*

Also, they're still crediting Lorimar-Telepictures as one of the show's producers. I'm hoping that they'll change it to Lorimar Television (and, beginning with Season 7, Warner Bros. Television)! :)

OT: I'm also hoping that they'll get rid of the current WHV logo (both print and actual) and replace it with the one that was first used in 1985. It looks something like this:
