...the FKB reunion movies from the 70s? Does anyone know if they had the ENTIRE original cast? I know Robert Young, Jane Wyman (Spocks mother, for all you other "trekys"-but I'm sure "trekys" know that!) and the actress that played Kathy, Lauren something,* were all in them.


*I forget her last name, but she also played Felixes girlfriend Miriam on "THE ODD COUPLE"

Yes, I remember watching that TV-movie; and it did feature the entire main
cast (Robert Young, Jane Wyatt, Elinor Donahue, Billy Gray and Lauren Chapin).

I remember BOTH of the "reunion movies" (shot on videotape) in 1977, and EVERY MEMBER of the original cast showed up [even Billy Gray, who had tried to distance himself from the show as the '60s played itself out into the '70s].
I believe those movies were supposed to spark a NEW series, but those plans never materialized! So the "Christmas" reunion was the last time all of them were together on screen.........

I decided to bump this thread up because I wanted to add something to what TV KNOWLEDGE FAN said.
I remember that in the last movie, the parents sold the house to their son and his wife; and the last scene was of the parents driving away and their son and daughter-in-law standing on the front porch waving goodbye to them. I remember thinking at the time that that was probably meant as the pilot for a new FKB series.

I remember when that movie aired...it was a big event... I seem to remember that it wasn't very good, though... as is the case with pretty much every reunion TV Movie ever made...

Just to avoid any confusion, treky is thinking of the right actress, but with the wrong name. Jane Wyatt was Father Knows Best's Margaret Anderson/Spock's mom. Jane Wyman, who's still living, was Falcon Crest's Angie Channing/Dr. Quinn's mom.
