In a board full of Chris fans, it's pointless of me to even say how I feel about Katharine being safe, because looking at my avatar, it's obvious.

But I do admit that Katharine did deserve to go home, and that Chris deserved to make it farther than Taylor. On the night, the only one who did excellent on both songs was Elliott, and when the underdog does the strongest, it really can mess up everyone's predictions. But, Chris fans, this isn't the end of Chris. Think positively. Yes he didn't win, but that can be a good thing. Bo's album didn't work as well because of how the producers wanted to do it, so if Chris is able to do his own thing, it'll be better for his fans. It's better to have a real, authentic album versus a manufactured, cookie-cutter album, right? Sorry if this didn't help, but I know how you guys feel, and yes, a lot of times I knew inside that "my eliminated favorites" would have a hard time making it in the real world, but something inside is telling me that Chris will succeed.

If I was to vote for anyone it would be Katharine!! But I am not voting and not watching anymore!! The whole system is a farce when I call to vote for Chris and get a recording of Kat's voice thanking me for voting for her!!

I truly believe that Taylor will be gone and so will Elliott!! Leaving Katharine standing alone. Sorry, she is just so much more marketable than either of the men this year. i dont like taylor, but i seriously can't see anyone but him winning this now that chris is gone. eliott just doesn't have what it takes and AI won't allow kat to win because they're pulling for a guy this year. i don't think he'll do well though.

i may throw in a vote or two for katharine next week but i wont be voting crazy like i did for chris. if katharine isn't in the finale, then i'll only watch the finale results to see the top 12 re-united again and to see past idols perform, because a taylor/eliott finale would be a snooze-fest.

I am just stating that the best person they had on there lost and since he is gone I have no desire to watch the show anymore. Plain and simple. Again, I am upset and have every right to be, but I don't let it control my life. I went to work as usual and I had lunch with my friends like usual. I am just saying that I will never watch it again and that is my right.

No one or nothing will control my life and I am proud to say that Chris is my American Idol. Don't like my posts then don't read them. I am entitled to my opinion just like you are. Im 22 years old and have been a fan of Taylor since day one. Honestly, you cant say he wont make it, because with Idol you can never predict these things. Look at Ruben, oh wait nevermind. Or Fantasia, Diana, etc. Yeah sure theyre doing pretty good right now, but they are not at the status Im sure AI wanted them to be at. Then you have Clay who may not be the most marketable, but his fanbase is ridiculous and I have never seen more supportive group for a singer, its like a freaking epidemic.

IMO Katharine is the most marketable but if we get another female Idol Ill seriously chew someones arm off. Taylor may not be the most marketable, but Clay proved you dont have to have that edge to sell records and make a name for yourself. I think Elliott is quite marketable if they know what kind of music he should stick to. In all honesty, Ace would be the most marketable of them all- hes got the looks, voice [sometimes], and that appeal to young girls- who will be the ones to buy every CD like a manic.

It is all a matter of personal choice, I do agree with you on that. Chris did have a good voice, but its not the kind of music I listen to, so why would I prefer him. I thought Mandisa had one of the best voices out of all of them, but I just didnt care for her. :lol: Yah its pretty hard NOT to watch Idol! I say every year or even every week 'Whatev! I boycott this show', lol but that lasts about 10 min. and then Im already anticipating next weeks theme. No matter how many disappointments Ive dealt with this show, I always have that one glimmer of hope that something will FINALLY go my way.. hopefully its this year!l lol.

Yah I was disappointed when Carrie beat out Bo. I wasnt Bo's biggest fan, but I wanted him to beat Carrie.. I always get turned off by the 'chosen' one, but I knew shed win anyways. I couldnt stand her on the show, but I do love her now and saw her a couple months ago in concert. Im not a fan of country, but I do love her CD lol. Once the show ends they warm up to me since they are no longer a 'threat' to my favorites.

I would love Taylor to win, too!! But I also want Elliott to win. If they made it to the finals itd be a win-win situation for me.

I agree with you on Taylor. I think he's mostly liked because he's goofy, but he still has a fairly good voice. If he wins, I don't think he will be a pop singer, and I honestly don't know what kind of music he would make. I could see Elliot and definitely Katherine make pop music though.
