I actually planted some pansies for the first time the other day. I always wanted to plant some flowers, but I've always been too damn lazy. Does anyone know of some easy/low maintenance stuff to plant? :)

It really all depends on your area and your soil. For example, I just started a garden abt a year ago and I started with basic greenery. I just recently started with some flowers (don't ask me the names...LOL) but when i went to the garden centers, i talked with the person there who assisted me with what would be best for my garden. I have this part of my house where sun partly shines there and they helped me with plants & flowers that would grow best there. I have hanging plants and a birdfeeder. I just put in a bird bath as well. I would just check out the garden centers and either ask someone or read the labels on the plants. Good Luck. I have fun with my garden.

Yeah, I had to ask about the flowers I bought, lol, I'm totally clueless. I was thinking of getting some kind of little bushes too or something. It is kinda fun, I felt like a kid playing in my sandbox again, lol.

that's a cute way of describing it. getting my hands dirty and so forth. and seeing the reward of getting your hands into the dirt. I am really surprised at my work. I have these beautiful plants that were meant to be "indoor" plants, but i took a chance and planted them out there and they are beautiful and huge!!!!
