Just wanted to let you all know my daughters' father (my ex-husband) passed away this morning. My daughters' are dealing with the death very well. When my older daughter called me to tell me she of course was crying and upset, however, she was very thankful for being able to go to Arizona and being able to speak with him, spend the weekend with him along with her sister. He died peacefully in his sleep. He was able to talk and eat a little right before he went to sleep. I was able to speak with him for the last time. Hearing him tell me he never stopped loving me made it very hard for me, but I always felt it in my heart he never let me go in his heart.
Your thoughts and prayers at this time really mean a lot to me especially knowing I couldn't be there with my daughters, but knowing God was there to ease their pain during this difficult time made things easier for me. I await their return from Arizona and again, thank you for your prayers which really played a part in their father having such a peaceful death. Thank you all and God Bless.

I'm sorry about his passing. Glad he went peacefully and that your daughters made peace with him.

I'm so sorry about you and your daughters loss. I'm glad they got to see him one last time before he went. And I'm sure he was glad his daughters were their in his final moments in this world. You and your daughters will remain in my prayers. :hug:

I'm sorry for your and your daughters' loss, Irene. You can take comfort that he died in peace and surrounded by his loved ones. So young though. :(

I'm so sorry to hear about that lost, Irene. If you don't mind me asking, what did he die from?
He died of liver cancer. He had a large tumor and eventually he had liver and kidney failure.
