View Full Version : Good-Bye missjohnR 05-08-2006, 03:39 PM Tonight is the night that we will see the last episode of 7th Heaven forever. I made a poll for tonight. Here's what you can do. Watch the show and come on here and vote for what you thought about the show. Rachel3118 05-08-2006, 07:29 PM I haven't been watching the show lately and I saw the question what did you think of the last episode and I thought I had missed it. I'm excited to see how the finally goes tonight! :D barb1686 05-08-2006, 09:10 PM I was a little disappointed, but yet at the same time I enjoyed it too...somehow I felt it was missing something, I wish they focused more on the family instead of just Simon (especially Rose). I wasn't able to watch it all, especially parts of the end. I'm a bit confused...are Rose & Simon not married? Cause Simon mentioned Rose marrying her ex-boyfriend and that they love each other. Also, what did Sandy have to say and what did she need to talk to Simon about? I knew they were talking, but I couldn't watch it. I thought it was cute they were all having twins, but at the same time I find that incredibly cheesy and unreal as well. What do you all think? I got teary when I saw them flashback between now and then shots there at the end, I thought that was emotional. Sad to see the show go. Very sad. ILuvZackMorris 05-08-2006, 09:11 PM I have a feeling (and have suspected it most of this season) that SANDY was telling Simon something to do with her son. (edit: doh, I started writing ROSE!) SPOILER? I was so confused at the end and thought they had gotten married, but I am glad they didn't get married.......... qwerty 05-08-2006, 09:21 PM I was confused also. I thought they treated it more like a season finale than a series finale. They never told us what Sandy and Simon were talking about. Martin didn't even make an appearance but they had Heather there which was nice - but so many other people didn't show up either with no mention of them. Eric's parents didn't even show up. All three of them (Lucy, Mary and Sarah) having twins was unrealistic. Rachel3118 05-08-2006, 09:23 PM I really did not like how they skipped them breaking off the wedding. It made it too confusing and that moment would have been interesting. I also thought that Mary should have actually came home. I hated the twins thing. When I found out it was two sets it was bad enough. I agree that they didn't focus enough on the family. It was all just about Simon and Rose. They didn't really need the hypothetical situations and they emphaised that they wern't ready to get married to much. So is Sandy's baby Siomon's? qwerty 05-08-2006, 09:32 PM So is Sandy's baby Siomon's? We don't know. Maybe they'll have a reunion and tell us at that point. missjohnR 05-08-2006, 09:34 PM It was confusing. At the end my mom and I were like "Did they get married?" I wish they didn't focus on Simon and Rose. They should of focus on the 10 years of the show. Showing them growing up, falling in love, getting married, etc., But I knew from last week episode that everyone was expecting twins. And I was right. Then something tells me that Sandy's child is really Simon's. Too bad we won't find out if its really his baby and find out other things like if Ruthie and Martin will get togther. barb1686 05-08-2006, 10:40 PM Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one confused....I stepped away from the tv like a few seconds at a time so I thought I missed something, but I guess your all on the same page. I guess that's not a good thing though, either. Series finales are about bringing shows to a close, not making people confused and wanting more info. Ugh. Kristen 05-08-2006, 10:43 PM I'm glad I'm not the only one dissappointed here. After all that "to-do" about the wedding, we never even SEE what happens there! I thought the twins thing was a bit overdone, too. My mom and I were trying to figure out what Sandy meant, looks like we weren't the only ones. ;) Maybe they're leaving it open for a reunion movie or something?? ILuvZackMorris 05-09-2006, 12:16 AM Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one confused....I stepped away from the tv like a few seconds at a time so I thought I missed something, but I guess your all on the same page. I guess that's not a good thing though, either. Series finales are about bringing shows to a close, not making people confused and wanting more info. Ugh. That's how I felt when I watched the series finale ( :( :( ) of Lois and Clark. The show ended horribly. I would have loved to see the credits at the beginning showing the credits from the first season to the last........and how they grew up........from little ruthie to mature Matt, Mary and Lucy. Maybe they'll have a reunion movie where Lucy, Mary and Sarah all have their babies? ;) I was hoping Lucy would have fraternal twins. I knew that mary would be calling the family, but I never thought it would be that they were back together AND expecting. I fgured it would be "we're back together". tvfan0101 05-09-2006, 12:27 AM I watched the finale after having given up on the series back in 2004 and I have to say it was just awful. comedyfreak 05-09-2006, 07:49 AM I was a little disappointed and don't appreciate the open endedness of the final show. They should have explained how they broke off the wedding and if Sandy was going to tell Simon that the baby was his. Then again why else would she have shown up. WB thumbs down on the final show! Why was Jessica not included with the family? Does she have something against the cast? or was it written this way? At least she got back together with Carlos and was going to the Graduation. barb1686 05-09-2006, 12:25 PM My guess is they wanted to leave it up to our minds, and picture it how we want it to be...especially how they break the wedding off. They probably want us to picture it like Annie and Eric did. My question is, if the baby is Simon's, how would they figure that out? I mean what were their intentions of Sandy doing a DNA test...did she finally just burst and say, hey this baby could be Simon's instead? qwerty 05-09-2006, 01:27 PM Why was Jessica not included with the family? Does she have something against the cast? or was it written this way? At least she got back together with Carlos and was going to the Graduation. I believe Jessica decided at the last minute to be on the show. It was too late to rewrite the scripts and have her be with the cast. qwerty 05-09-2006, 01:30 PM My guess is they wanted to leave it up to our minds, and picture it how we want it to be...especially how they break the wedding off. I mean what were their intentions of Sandy doing a DNA test...did she finally just burst and say, hey this baby could be Simon's instead? The DNA test should have been done a while back I believe. But this is 7th Heaven so things don't always make sense. I believe early on they said that when she got pregnant the only option was Martin to be the father. PrettyinPink55 05-09-2006, 05:51 PM It was emotional. But I liked the way it ended. 3 SETS OF TWINS!!!!! MORE THAN 7TH HEAVEN INDEED!!!! I like how they let us interpret the ending, and kind of end it how we wanted it to end. The only thing I didn't like, which a few people have mentioned was: Was the baby Simon's? And if so, why did she put Martin through all of that?! qwerty 05-09-2006, 06:04 PM It was emotional. But I liked the way it ended. 3 SETS OF TWINS!!!!! MORE THAN 7TH HEAVEN INDEED!!!! I'd rather they just tell us but it was not meant to be. comedyfreak 05-10-2006, 12:58 AM My question is, if the baby is Simon's, how would they figure that out? I mean what were their intentions of Sandy doing a DNA test...did she finally just burst and say, hey this baby could be Simon's instead? Well remember she did sleep with Simon first, it would all depend on how long it had been since they were together and when she slept with Martin. I always felt that it was Simon's and that Sandy didn't want to make trouble for Simon. barb1686 05-10-2006, 09:48 AM Well remember she did sleep with Simon first, it would all depend on how long it had been since they were together and when she slept with Martin. It was too late to rewrite the scripts and have her be with the cast. That make sense. It would have been a lot better if she had had a chance to interact with the family. The suspensful ending for a series finale just doesn't work! How they left out the wedding was so bad. I thought I had missed something. I thought my sisters were going to blame me for flipping the channels during the commercials, and missing something. I also thought it was some sort of party before the wedding, because they couldn't possible skip the wedding. It would have been good to see what was going on with Martin and Ruthie. I also think Robbie should have came back, instead of Heather. ILuvZackMorris 05-11-2006, 02:02 PM I think the "this could happen" day dreams about the wedding.......the one where Rose says she's too young and those other things was meant as a "wedding scene" substitute if you understand what I'm tryng to say. The one when Mary runs in (that was a day dream of course) and the other ones.... Rachel3118 05-11-2006, 05:48 PM That is true but they should have just shown how it actually happend instead of those. Storywriter 05-14-2006, 02:08 PM I voted other. I did not watch the finale. I actually stopped watching 7th Heaven in 2002. I outgrew it began to bore me and in my opinion I am glad it's a done deal and all over and done with and all I am doing is answering the poll here about how I feel about the ending of Heaven. It's all JMO I will be going now. Bye  barb1686 05-14-2006, 09:38 PM I voted other. I did not watch the finale. I actually stopped watching 7th Heaven in 2002. Bye  Ah, but it's not over...it's coming back for 13 episodes. I agree though, when the cast grew huge, it wasn't about the family and it began to be a bit less meaningful. I miss the shows where you learned about the concentration camps and losing your friend in a car wreck, and all that. Important life lessons. Not watching Rose bitch every single episode. I liked it when they wrapped storylines up quicker too. But anyways, I will always be a 7th Heaven fan, it's just not one of my favorite shows like it once was...I can miss an episode and care less most of the time. Storywriter 05-14-2006, 09:42 PM It's ashame these articles are playing tricks on Heaven's fans. It's not a nice thing to do to them. barb1686 05-14-2006, 09:44 PM It's ashame these articles are playing tricks on Heaven's fans. It's not a nice thing to do to them. Huh? No, really it is coming back. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060514/tv_nm/heaven_dc_1 http://news.yahoo.com/s/eo/20060513/en_tv_eo/19024 Buffyboy323 05-14-2006, 10:05 PM Huh? It was sooo cornball of them to make the THREE oldest siblings pregnant with twins. That was just not cool. tv star collector 05-15-2006, 07:17 PM For those who missed it, the WB is repeating "Goodbye" (the finale) tonight (May 15th), at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. Central time). Rachel3118 05-17-2006, 04:41 PM UGH...Help us all! And my opinion of the Finale???...It sucked! It was sooo cornball of them to make the THREE oldest siblings pregnant with twins. That was just not cool. They should have just made it so Simon and Ruthie were going to be parents of twins. If they made it that cheesy they may as well have went all the way. So we still don't know if this thirteen episode thing is a rumor or not. I would guess that it won't actually happen and I certainly hope not. Dr. Will 07-23-2006, 01:15 PM I hadn't been wacthing in a while, but I decided to tune in for the fanalliy. I am so glad I did. It was the bigest freek show I have ever seen. It was so stupid. I couldn't stop lauging. All of them haveing twins.lol. I don't know what the writers were thinking. |
