I guess since ABC took over, they felt the need to put a certain twist on things to seperate themselves from NBC

Yeah I didn't like it at all, it was WAY to lite and pastelly for my taste.

I seem to grow up with the more sober colors of the earlier seasons of Diff'rent Strokes. I hardly remember the colors of the set in the 8th Season, though. What did they look like?

Everything about the 8th season sucked. The apartment was no exception.

And what was with the sofa?? They were turned in a odd way for a sitcom.

It was kind of corny at the end of the opening credits the cast lypsync the final word of the theme song..."Woooooorld!!!"

They had pretty much updated the song....just like Happy Days did with their theme song, by adding an annoying woo-woo.

That place looked sweet! It was the 80's after all. What did the bedrooms look like? I also loved the new theme. It was more upbeat.

I loved it as most of you know. It was an improvement for me. It was a little microwave cheesy, but an improvement and I am glad that it was done. The sister shows "Silver Spoons" and "Facts Of Life" got makeovers as well. I also enjoyed the new theme.

The Pent house looked Awsome.
