Anybody else love this song?

I think next to "The Girl I Knew Somewhere", this was perhaps The Monkees most shining moment. Everything is just in place here. The Lyrics, The Music and the message. Not to mention it was partially written by Peter Tork.

I think that "Randy Scouse Git" is Micky's shining moment as writer though.

It's a catchy song, and the producers must have liked it because it was the
closing theme for the show during its second (and final) season.

"Randy Scouse Git" was certainly one of Micky Dolenz's best compositions. I
also like several of his tunes on the 1995 album "Justus" (esp. "It's My Life").

"For Pete's Sake" is one of their best, definitely.
