View Full Version : I've lost all respect for Kobe
Not only does Kobe continue to go after Raja Bell but when the game is over, he leaves and goes to the locker room instead of congratulating the Suns players like the other Lakers were. He is a great player which you cannot deny but he is just a total piece of ****. The sad thing is that on another forum, I actually have to defend myself because there are people who forget about his past and actually respect him. I respect his accomplishments, don't get me wrong, but how can you respect cheating on your wife, accusing someone of cheating on their wife, and nearly beheading someone on national television and defending your actions?
GARFIELDKOOL 05-07-2006, 09:35 AM I feel the same way, D.J. As great of a player he is, that says a lot about his charcter. Humble is something Kobe ain't. I don't have any respect for him either.
moeee 05-07-2006, 11:59 AM me too. I respect him game, but i dont respect him as a person. He's full of himself.

Unless you have FRIENDS on the team that just eliminated you, i see no reason to shake any of their hands after the game. FOR WHAT? I never saw the point of that anyway. The Bulls didn't shake the heat players hands they lost.

It's called sportsmanship. Elimination or not, you still should shake hands. these are grown ups and professionals, though a lot of them don't act like it.

Whatever, if I don't have any boys on the other team I'm leaving. It's easy for the winning team after the game to shake hands and bust it up but never for the losing team. Sometimes you are not in the mood.

You sound just as immature and classless as the rest of them. I knew I shouldn't have replied to you, because you like to debate. It goes way beyond having boys on the team. If you don't show sportsmanship, it says a lot about your character.

Well in KOBE's Defense he knows that he is not LIKED by the Suns Players so why even go over there and shake hands? So do you consider the Bulls classless?

Well, Kobe should have been a bigger man than that. That just put him on a lower level, especially from a character point of view. And yes, the Bulls are classless and immature.

Well I never saw the point because the players are not even looking at each other when they shake hands-lol

Did lose any respect for Lebron for not showing at the Post Game Conference after the Game just because they lost by 30? What do you have say about that?????????????????

I really didn't really watch that game, but I stand by my opinions. Lebron should have showed at the post game. He is the Cavs superstar, and therefore, you are expected to talk to the media. I wouldn't say I lost respect for Lebron (his situation was different from Kobe's) but you say he didn't show up for the post game, well, he should have. I lost a little respect for him from that point of view, at least they are still alive. They, Kobe, Lebron, and the rest of them are professionals, they need to be professional, and stop acting like sore losers....I rest my case.

Well, he is still a sore loser.
Rachel3118 05-08-2006, 06:11 PM It seems like if everyone else is shaking hands it is rude for you not to. However this doesn't really seem like a big deal to me. I don't like him because of a lot of the other things he has done.

Shaking hands should only be after the NBA Finals
Rachel3118 05-08-2006, 07:24 PM If everyone else on your team is shaking hands and your not it makes you look like your purposely being unfriendly to the other team. In the Cicago Bulls case it's more like they just didn't happen to shake hands.

Only one Laker shook the Suns Hands, it was Jim Jackson, a guy who played with the Suns a couple of years ago.
