I thought this would be an interesting thread idea. Which of your favorites do you like more? Last year's or this year's? Or do you like them both the same?

My favorite last year was Bo. My favorite this year is Chris. Both true rock stars. :D

I feel like Bo posesses more of the star quality than Chris does...personality, stage presence, versatility, etc. But Chris has grown on me a lot. He's not as out there as Bo, but I'll admit that I like his voice better and with his modern rock genre as opposed to Bo's classic rock, I think he'll do very well on today's charts.

Chris is pretty versatile too (Making Memories of Us...Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman...anyone? :biglove: ), but I do wish he would perform more songs that show off his personality. Like Higher Ground...he was amazing on that one.

I guess I'm gonna have to go with Chris.

my favorite last year was carrie and my favorite this year is chris. polar opposites, really.

carrie is still #1 in my book, but chris comes close. i feel i connect with chris more, considering he's the same gender as me and everything.

BUT i like carrie better.

Last year my favorite was Mario. This year it was Kevin. I didnt get to know either one of them all that well.. so I dunno. Mario is on the radio know which I LOVE and Kevin was seriously the cutest thing ever. Taylor and Elliott are my favs too, but not initially. I dunno, the last Idol I was crazily obsessed with was Mario and before that JPL. Its hard to choose. If Mario had been on longer Id choose him. Tie?

My last years favorite was Carrie and this year my favorite was Kellie because she was some much like Carrie and she was so ditzy. Now I really watch Katherine to win! I have the McPhever. I dont think a guy would be a good idol because i dont think they will get the same popularity as females i.e- Kelly, Carrie, Fantasia

My favorite last season was Jessica and my favorite this season was Ayla. I love them both and they both have amazing talent, and were robbed, but my Idol is Jessica. I had this crazy connection with Jessica that I gained over the summer, she had been my favorite during the show, but over the summer, it got more intense. Which is weird. But when I met her, I knew she'd be my favorite Idol forever.

Even though I just changed my avatar from Jessica to Ayla :p

Last year my favorite was Constantine. This year its Taylor. Taylor lasted longer, but Constantine....mmmmmmmm god I love him. So I'd have to go with Constantine.

My favorite last year was Carrie and this year Kellie.....Carrie won last year, but Kellie only made it 6th place.......

My favorite last year was Constantine and my favorite this year was (awww I can't believe I just said was :() Chris. As far as which one I like better, well, as far as personality definitely Constantine, not that Chris doesn't seem like a nice person, but Constantine just.. had that APPEAL to people. You know, when he did that look into the camera.. I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about! But vocally, I like Chris better. Although I hate when he yells his way through songs, he has an amazing voice... Love Me Tender tonight? He sounded amaaaaazing...sadly he's gone now :(

My last year's favorite was Carrie, and my this year's favorite is Elliott. I'll probably go with Elliott.

My favorite last year was Anthony and my favorite this year is Elliott. I really like both of their voices and they both have different styles. I honestly can't pick between the two.

I liked Carrie's higher register better than Kat's, but I liked Kat's lower register better than Carrie's. I liked Carrie's charm, but I wanted more personality from her -- which I think Katharine had, however she lacked that charm Carrie had :lol:

Last year : Carrie definetly. I still love her.
This Year : KAT!! Forever and ever. I love everything about her, shes amazing!

Carrie was my favorite last year, and this year it was Chris. I'll have to go with Chris as my ALL TIME favorite (well, maybe tied with Kelly).
