I was reading today that Mischa probably won't be a series regular next season!!! And that she may only be in a few episodes. I hope this isn't true. i wasn't always a Coop fan, but I have warmed up to her over the last 2 years. I hope these plans aren't a sure thing. Marissa is such an important part of The OC. If anything, I do hope she's a recurring next year, and they don't kill her off in the upcoming Finale.

And what would this mean for The OC behind the Scenes? She is their biggest star.

Marissa is a HUGE character on The OC! Mind you she's not my favorite....she's probably my least favorite, but still! The OC wouldn't function without her!

I've heard that since the 2nd season or since she started dating or dated that Brandon Davis guy that she completely changed, including her demeanor on the set.

I have never watched her on the "O.C." so I cannot comment on her acting talent, but as far as I have seen, she's been photgraphed a lot in the tabloids with her various boyfriends; that's all well and good, but that doesn't make you a big shot. Hanging out at parties and fashion shows doesn't make you a movie star..
Maybe if you get a few movies under your belt, then you can think about leaving the series that got you all the acclaim.

I hope this is just a rumor. The show just wouldn't work without her. I agree that they should at least bring her back as a reccuring charecter. The previews for the O.C. said someone might die and it would make sense if it was her. I just hope they don't leave us waiting all summer to see if they died.

I don't get why she would want to do movies. The O.C. has made her so popular and who knows if she would be sucessful with movies.
