I watch this show every so often and the info says JOHN AMOS...I am watching it right now and waiting to see the man in the TAN PANTS appear...

Ok, John came out wearing TIGHT LEVI'S and a somewhat tight light blue denim long-sleeved shirt...now that i got the important stuff mentioned, he also talked abt how Esther Rolle, if it wasn't for her insistence that GT have a father, he wouldn't be a part of t.v. history.

He also talked abt singing on the Dinah Shore show...anyone have that on tape???????

a possible country music CD???? John loves country music and don't put it past him to make a country music CD.

Being on TVLand for the GT reunion was wonderful. the last time the group got together was for Esther's funeral.

They showed a snippet of John in the movie Dr. Doolittle 3...i didn't know he was in that movie

He has been touring around the world in his play HALEY'S COMET, a one-man show...(need to get tickets to that show!)

I personally don't like Tavis so I never tune into his show, but I'm sorry that I couldn't see it, Since our PBS airs different thing.

John Amos was, and is, a class act. I find it amusing that he loves country music - he doesn't strike me as a country music fan. :lol:
