I think i put my hand over my mouth and was saying-"What the hell is she doing?_LOL

I saw this episode for the first time as a kid and was scared out of my mind. It definitely made me afraid of heroine which was definitely a good thing.

I know I was shocked. It was good to make a point that it could happen to anyone and that parents have to be watching their kids carefully.

1) The family receiving the word that James was dead?

2) Penny's momma taking the iron towards Penny?

3) J.J. getting shot

4) When Thelma got slapped across the face?


My reactions:

1) "Oh Damn"

2) Scared the crap out of me. The way the camera closed in on Penny's fearful face made it seem like a horror movie

3) Oh Lord! Poor J.J.

4) Oh no he didn't, I was pissed when I first saw this.

Diana was J.J's prom date who was a UNDERCOVER drugg addict and ran into Thelma's Room to shoot up drugs in her arm

Every time i see that scene, i always cringe. lol

Some of my friends laugh when they watch it which is something I never understood

1. For a while I thought John AMos was dead for real.

2. I thought she was gonna kill Penny.

3.Why would anyone want to shoot JJ.

4. What a jackass !! It's not her fault you got hurt

As far as the Diana scene I hated shots when i was a kid and I couldn't figure out why someone would purposely give themselves one

Does TV LAND still show it?

i thought how could someone inject themselves with a needle? I knew it was drugs, but I had no idea that it could be done that way. It was shocking to me.
