It is hard to belive these are from one of those dollar DVD's. I think the video quality is good for what it is. The only problem I have with it is that the opening theme is missing. Lucky for me I got it on VHS too and that has the opening theme on it.

I have the $1 DVD from DOLLAR TREE -- and I agree, the picture quality is just as good as some of the $20 DVDs. I liked the movie. It was pretty good.

I got all three movies but the second two are not in the best quality. I don't understand why only the first movie is in public domain and the second two aren't.

I recently saw "Rescued" after not seeing it in a long time. I watched right after watching the entire series of GI on DVD and I thought it was really sad to see everybody still on that island 15 years older (except Ginger). Speaking of which, I really hate the Ginger recast. She didn't have the wit in her delivery like Tina Louise. And she was so much younger than the rest, including Mary Ann!

to me Ginger in Rescue acted to stupid. She sort of reminded me of a porn star.

Whoa. I think I'll buy this one after all. :)
But you're right. She does look far too young.
