I assumed living in New York he would use a cab. Am i wrong, don't a lot of New Yorkers rely on other means of transportation? especially with the parking being very hard to allow anyone to own a car?

I thought they had a delivery van at the cleaners, he had to drive that at some point, lol

You don't need a car in NYC. I use to jump in the subway, take the bus, the cab, bike ride, I've even seen the skiiers skiing in Manhattan when there was a transit strike Also the roller skaters/bladers. The walking is good too.

there was that episode where lionel damages the new van in a snow storm, but george thinks he actually hit a man instead. I think the man was a known mobster or something. So, I guess george drove. Whether he has a license or not is a different story.

Yeah I forgot about that, i think since he didn't have his own car is why I felt he never drove

In the 2nd season episode, George's Alibi, George thought that he had hit a mobster in a snowstorm. Lionel actually had dented the van prior to this. So, George did have a driver's license.

Also that episode the first store in the flashback george said he sold his car for so he could have money to open up his first store.
