I just want to know why CH isn't releasing season 6 of the show. I bought seasons 1 - 5 through them, now I have an incomplete set as far as matching DVDs go. I'm going to start purchasing seasons 1 - 5 from Paramount now that I have season 6, but can I still get the replacement disc for season 4 or is it too late??? Please tell me it isn't because that will be the first one I purchase then!

I remember reading that Columbia stopped making them a while back.

Right...Unfortunately, Columbia House quit releasing ILL after Season 5. So I don't think we'll be seeing anymore "Lucy" from Columbia House (like "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour", "The Lucy Show", "Here's Lucy", or "Life With Lucy.") :(

I'm in the same boat as you are. I have the CH seasons 1 thru 5. I just ordered the Paramount season 6. What is the replacement disc for season 4? I haven't had any problems with mine.

I was talking to Gregg about Season 4, and mentioned that some footage was missing from some Season 4 episodes. He did some research, and realized that there WAS footage missing...so he found the missing footage and inserted it into the episodes, and released a replacement disc. And the only way to get that replacement disc is with the Paramount DVDs (you have to send in your Proof of Purchase). :(

Thank you. Does Gregg have an explanation as to why CH stopped producing the DVDs? I actually went with those based on his recommendation and I am pretty disappointed that they didn't follow through with the entire series. How are the Paramount DVDs. Do they have extras CH? I may sell my CH collection on eBay and replace them with the Paramount set if they are just as good or better.
