It was sooooooooooooooooooooo FUNNY... It was about a very well spoken youngish highly college-educated black man from New York City who applies for a job as a Deputy Sheriff in what I can assume was the Savannah Georgia or maybe Macon Georgia area... see url= http://www.womenslaw.org/GA/GA_sheriff.htm
The Sheriff hires him because he is so highly qualified, but this black man must work with a "good 'ol' boy" white southern Deputy Sheriff who has some hidden resentment, but never expresses it in words. The Sheriff is also constantly contradicted see url= http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=contradicted by his "underling" from New York City... who often contradicts the Sheriff without him even fully realizing it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly Hilarious.. There were 43 episodes, and I watched this show every day in re-runs. I LOVED IT!!! Man I would LOVE to see some of these episodes again!!!

You Lucky Dawg You!! That is FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY!!!!! 16 is more than 1/3rd of the Show, that's not shabby at all. How many DvD's is it? One way or the other we will figure something from my collection out. I have a NEW PRACTICE... I think I have about 37 of the 43 eps, problem is they don't have titles and there are not very good ep guides out there. Anyhow, the show is available and I am near complete.

I used to split my sides laughing, while watching this show, but look at where I live (Charleston South Carolina) and that will kind of explain my fascination with this show... It's my culture!!
