Ahmad definately deserves better. He's a professional.

Can someone explain to me why Ahmad has being doing the NBA for years when he was a football player? Did he just abandon his football roots or lose his love for the game?

And why was he such a kiss ass to Jordan, Shaq, and Kobe?
For a football great to jump to basketball and be such a suck up, it is embarrassing.

I personally can't stand the guy.

I agree with you though about him being a football player and covering basketball. That was something I never quite understood.

You'd be hard pressed now and days to find a sportscaster who doesn't kiss ass to certain players and teams. A good example is Dick Vitale and his obsession with Duke and Coach K lol

I can't stand Ahmad for the reasons stated:

1. Football player who has nothing to do with fooball now.

2 and instead is a suck-up basketball worshipper.

If Charles Barkley starts doing pro football games, how idiotic would that sound?

And Vitale is a major kiss ass, but least he didn't switch sports.
