All I have to say is:

THANK GOD.

...first he's HBK's tag partner, and now he gives us this!

But seriously, on many wrestling forums, people are "crying" about this, about how much better Joey Styles is, etc. Personally, I find Styles EXTREMELY overrated and I don't care for his commentary at all. JR can make even the most boring matches seem interesting.

Who else thought Styles' little hissy fit was HILARIOUS?! Seriously, that had to be the wimpiest little rant I've ever seen.

My favorite moment of the entire night was when King snapped and was like "YOU LITTLE IDIOT!" and then shoved Styles backwards by the FACE, and then he toppled right over the commentator chair and fell right on his ass! That was priceless.

Styles goes bananas, setting up a JR return plus Joey getting to finally go back to the returning promotion he so excellently did announce for previously.

I saw this was coming, and yet, it was still so good.

I think it was so good because what Styles said was so true. For some reason, Vince Mcmahon finds the words wrestler and professional wrestling to be taboo words.

That part really wasn't a gimmick, though. Vince McMahon really did give Jim Ross the boot from commentary, in an effort to bring in someone who he thought would help to draw in a young, hip crowd. When that guy backed out at the last minute after people had warned him of how "outlandish" WWE television really was, then Joey Styles was brought in instead.
