Does anyone else like christian music? (not like some dorky old hymn er somthin) but like the contemporary stuff.

There are quit a few christians songs I like infact I just got Alan Jackson Precious Memories and had alot of favorite of mine on there such as Blessed Assurance,Leaning on the ever lastings arms,In the garden(etc).

I was just going to start a thread like this myself. But yeah, I absolutely love Christian music. I honestly think contemporary Christian music, is the best current music genre out there today, and it's what I spend most of my time listening to. Some of my favorite singers/groups are: Keith Green, Michael W. Smith, Twila Paris, The Newsboys, Rich Mullins, Plus One, Third Day, Switchfoot, Sara Groves, Lincoln Brewster, Chris Rice, and Audio Adrenaline. :cool:

Yes, I love it. I even have 2 songs by Vickie Winans on my IPOD, "Victory" and "It's Alright". If you go to Vickie's site, you can see the video for "It's Alright", that's a bad video (I mean bad in a good way)

haha...yea, there are some pretty good old hymns but I just kinda wanted to specify contemporary (ya know.) but...yay!!! I'm pretty happy that other people do like it!!!!:happyface (lol, well, I mean, I know that my friends do & stuff, but just wonderin who all else in the world does.)

Yes I like it. I like listening to the 3 men that sing on The In touch program. I have to find their names and post it here. :)

I like Switchfoot-- maybe because they aren't too preachy.

The late, great Mark Heard. He was so intelligent, so underrated, and rocked.

Christian music is pretty good I like Michael W. Smith, Mercy Me, Switchfoot, Point of Grace, Dc Talk, Jars of Clay, the band Sierra but I don't think they sing anymore they were more of a 90's band but they were really good. Oh and another band I don't think that sings anymore that I liked was Acappella.
