View Full Version : The Sopranos Week 8: "Johnny Cakes" Brian Damage 04-29-2006, 08:27 PM Tony is tempted by a real-estate offer; Vito is wowed by an act of heroism; AJ looks to "diversify." Brian Damage 05-01-2006, 09:15 AM What a way to open up this episode. lol Vito is certainly living free or die motto. Phil is most likely going to be the guy that whacks him. As for Tony, I'm glad he didn't succumb to temptation. Moonlight Lady 05-01-2006, 04:18 PM This was a very good episode. I'm glad Tony didn't either. I wonder what's going to happen with A.J. now. That's his 3rd panic attack. I wonder if he's going listen to Tony and actually grow up. I love the scene in the cafeteria when Junior sees A.J. and he begs him to take him home. The knife falls out and Junior says "That's not Mine!" The Vito storyline is really getting good. I wondering how long it'll take before they find him and whack him. I agree that it'll probably be Phil. Next week's episode looks really good. Justfuhgetaboutit 05-01-2006, 05:49 PM This episode was good but very emotional. A lot of stuff went on and It made you think about it. Like AJ when he tried to kill Junior then that talk Tony had with him outside the police station, it makes you think. Janice 05-01-2006, 07:33 PM Good episode. Tony's back in action, lol. I was glad that he's finally being faithful to Carm. It's about time. That real estate woman looked hard to resist for Tony the horndog, lol. Vito and his new friend...that was some fist fight. It was fun making up though, lol. When they drove their motorcycles to the mountain, I called it "Harley Mountain". Vito's days are numbered. I was glad that A.J. was showcased. I had a feeling something very bad was going to happen, as in a fatal overdose. I'm glad I was wrong. Even for the Sopranos, that storyline would be too dark. I got a kick out of the guys trying to shakedown a Starbucks or whatever it was. Times have changed boys. This isn't your father's Mafia, lol. Brian Damage 05-01-2006, 08:05 PM The Starbucks stuff was hilarious. AJ was great. The majority of the time his character was so wooden, it was nice that he was actually ACTING for a change. EdBrownJr 05-02-2006, 01:47 PM i think phil will use vito's wife to get him........ |
