View Full Version : Season 4
Buffyboy323 04-29-2006, 04:38 PM I read in last week's TV GUIDE, that for next season, we will see some changes happen in The OC. College being the biggest one. Also, Creator Josh Shwartz says that Taylor will become a Series Regular, as will Kaitlin Cooper. We're gonna see her in High School. We'll be seeing a whole new generation of Newport Kids, through her eyes. He also said that he's keeping his mouth shut right now as to if Ryan, Marissa, Seth, and Summer will all be back. And he also said for everyone to ignore those rumors about Mischa Barton being late everyday and not wanting to come back next Season.
Chain Gang Member 04-30-2006, 11:57 AM That's good because Taylor has been a great addition to the show just like Mouth is for One Tree Hill
Buffyboy323 05-02-2006, 06:41 PM I wish they would keep Anna instead...:(
Rachel3118 05-03-2006, 05:09 PM They should at least have Anna in it for like six episodes or so. But if they made Brown a part of of the show she would make a good series regular. I like Catlin Coopers charecter but I don't think she should be to important. Ryan, Marrissa, Summer, and Seth still need to be a main part of the show, even if they are at college.

I wouldn't be sad if Ryan and Summer left.

I like Anna too
Rachel3118 05-04-2006, 07:25 PM I'm always so excited when Anna's in an episode. The last two episodes with her were great. Maybe they should keep her around, and bring the show back to what it was in the first season

I agree! They are supposed to have Anna there for the final 5 episodes of the season. So let't hope she leaves a mark, like she did with her season one exit.
Chain Gang Member 05-05-2006, 10:40 AM SOmeone is gonna die two weeks from now? There stealing this from One Tree Hill:mad: .It's either gonna be Kevin or one of the parents
Buffyboy323 05-06-2006, 12:03 AM Hopefully it's Summer. All i'm saying is it better not be my favorite Character Julie!!!
PrettyinPink55 05-06-2006, 12:08 AM YES! Taylor Townsend is like one of my favorite characters!!! :D
And I REALLLY hope Summer doesn't die!!! She's my favorite character next to Seth!!
Rachel3118 05-10-2006, 08:07 PM I don't want any of them to die. Especially the core 4 charecters. You never know if someone will die. Didn't the commercial say someone "may" die. It could just be a near death experiance.

"May" is the key word there. You know how FOX likes to screw with our heads. They hype the episodes up so much, and the previews are so different from what really happens.
Rachel3118 05-11-2006, 05:45 PM Yah, the previous are a lot more dramatic than the real show.
I would guess that no main charecter is going to die but there is rumers of Marrissa leaving the show so you never know.
Storywriter 05-14-2006, 02:01 PM If there is a S4 and it's all about Caitlin I will not be vieweing my days with oC are done I cannot stand that kid. I will be watching the finale and I hope and Pray Summer will be okay which I kinda already know she will be.
I am watching them Graduated and than I am saying bye. I cannot stand Caitlin and if the Seth, Summer and Ryan will not be back that pisses me off. I already know Mischa is leaving and i will say I will not miss marissa.

Kaitlin is gonna be a big part of Next Season. We're gonna see her and all her friends. But the old gang will still be there. They will just be dealing with "Young adult" issues. So it's kinda like 2 shows in one. And don't forget the parents' stories as well. It should be a busy year next season, and let's hopoe they get back on their feet.

I wish she would stay at her boarding School and now be shown or bought up again but that's JMO.

Maybe they should recast the role? LOL. I'm not her biggest fan either. I don't understand why they had to make her all grown up, and couldn't just keep the Original Kaitlin from Season 1.
Rachel3118 05-17-2006, 04:24 PM I like Catlin's character but I can't see her as being a main part of the show. People won't be as intrested in what is going on in her life. There may also be to many charectors to follow.
Buffyboy323 08-15-2006, 10:56 PM Luke is apparently returning to Newport Beach. And with him, his 16 year old twin brothers. (They'll be friends with Kaitlin Cooper).....I'm also hearing that Volchek might be back. UGH!
Buffyboy323 09-02-2006, 12:05 AM Pop Star Chris Brown is in talks to appear in atleast 1 episode this coming Season. *Vomits*
Buffyboy323 10-04-2006, 04:40 PM Hey guys, here's some news:
Marissa Cooper may be deceased, but the fourth season of FOX's "The O.C." will feature plenty of familiar faces along with several guests.
As expected, "The O.C." will launch on Thursday, Nov. 2 and, as has been previously reported, "Everwood" co-star Chris Pratt will promptly begin a multi-episode guest-starring arc as Che, Summer's (Rachel Bilson) new svengali at Brown, a young man responsible for turning the formerly superficial prom queen into a tree-hugging activist.
FOX also announced that 17-year-old recording artist Chris Brown will begin shooting a slew of episodes playing Will Tutt, a lonely band geek who befriends Kaitlin Cooper (new series regular Willa Holland) and maybe stirs up a little romance in Orange County. Brown's self-titled debut disc on Jive Records has gone platinum thanks in large part to the success of his first single "Run It!"
In addition to Holland's new status as a regular, Autumn Reeser will also be a regular this season, expanding on her role as Taylor Townsend.
The network offered a few hints on how the first Mischa-free "O.C." season would begin. Sandy (Peter Gallagher) returns to the public defenders office and things with Kirsten (Kelly Rowan) have never been better, though they have some concerns that Ryan (Benjamin McKenzie) is straying from the straight-and-narrow. Meanwhile, with Summer off at college, Seth has taken to watching golf with Dr. Roberts (Michael Nouri) and hanging out with various Newspies. Kaitlin has transferred to Harbor and she's causing trouble with Luke's brothers (Corey Price and Wayne Dalglish) and Julie Cooper (Melinda Clarke) has taken up yardwork.
"I'm very proud of these episodes and I think they convey real emotion and drama but also, more importantly, humor and heart," creator Josh Schwartz says in a statement. "I believe our fans will find this focus on our core characters and their relationships really satisfying. The show has been reinvented; rebooted. Personally, it feels like 'The O.C.' is back. I hope our fans feel the same way."
Storywriter 10-04-2006, 10:23 PM Poor Josh must keep dreaming.I think the oc has already lost some of it's fan. I used to post at OCB and they shut the board and cancelled it because the creators of that site aren't interested in the show anymore. Me I am now 98% sure I won't be watching S4 now and Ia m not sure how many more fans OC lost plus only 16 episodes have been filmed.
