I read somewhere that this episode was withdrawn from syndication for political incorrectness. But after watching it on Season 2 DVD, I can't see why. Is there something offensive about the Indian portrayals? If there is, I can't see it.

Actually, "The Prowler" episode from Season 1 is now politically incorrect because of the stereotypical portrayal of the Japanese Judo professor. But I'm sure that episode is still shown.

...could possibly be banned, 'gregrob'. The "indians" involved weren't REAL indians, as the TV producer keeps repeating the fact that he got those "extras...from an all-night movie". And that episode was one of the few that Daws Butler temporarily replaced Mel Blanc as Barney (due to Mel's near-fatal auto accident in January 1961; when he recovered enough to work again, he recorded his dialogue from his bed at home- in a full body-cast- for the duration of the 1961-'62 season and almost half of the 1962-'63 season as well!!)
