I did not know that June Pointer had passed away from cancer, I knew she was sick but, not hadpassed on. She will be greatly missed by her fans. She died in her sisters arms. She decided to leave The Pointer Sisters for a career of her own,she had done some albums, I think they were going to make a comeback. There hits includes,"Fire" Jump, For My Love, Slowhand. She's with the angels now, and she is in no pain. WE will miss her, she will be missed. The group got started in 1973 or 1974. I don't feel sorry for her because she had no business doing drugs. Somebody posted on here that she had done drugs since she was 13 years old. That's crazy. She didn't stop doing drugs until she found out she had cancer. I'm so tired of hearing about entertainers that are drug users and have died from drugs. People know what drugs do to their body. So why do they do it? Drugs doesn't take you away from the pain and suffering a person goes through. I think the reason why people do drugs is because they think drugs takes them to another place and makes them feel better and it doesn't make you feel better. It makes you feel terrible.
