Hey i was just thinking to myself since paramount pictures does not have a clue of what they want to do with the rest of the happy days series, why don't they just go ahead and do whatever they got to do, to get season 2 out and work with timelife to see if they can help commercial televised and addvertize the rest of the seasons, timelife from what i no has never failed there customers, and i believe if paramount would have let timelife sell season 1 they might would have had great sells and we might would have saw season 2 and so on, wow i couldn't believe that Australia has the two season of happy days, i only have season one, but let me asked you one question, the season on dvd that are being sold in Australia, do they have all of the series unedited and showing all of the original deleted that are not shown in syndication, and the original music for all of the volume on dvd

The problem is that apparently, Season One didn't move enough numbers, so the likelihood of seeing season two and beyond is very slim. Unfortunately, that's business. There apparently aren't or weren't enough fans to spur sales numbers that would have ensured the release of season two.

It's too bad they don't operate a DVD division like Universal music's Hip-O-Select CD division, which makes limited editions of CD reissues that are available only online. Their CDs are a bit more expensive than regular ones, but only because they are pressed in smaller quantities and marketed solely to collectors via the website.

What I'm getting at is that it's too bad they don't make a Season Two set available through the web exclusively. Maybe it would cost more than a mass-marketed set like Season One, but there are certainly enough fans to sustain such a retail venture.

They should let Sitcoms Online produce and market DVD TV sets in that fashion - hell, just selling to the members here would ensure a nice profit!!:D

the problem is that compianys that relase shows on dvd is that they cant get it through ther thick skulls that fans of shows know that season 1 of any show usally isnt the best but that the sales will pick up when the better seasons come out but since season 1 of said show didnt sell friends like numbers they think there is no market for said show when that is simply not the case and if these dimwits would relase season 2 they would be shocked at how fast it would sell

Yep, and from a ratings standpoint, the show didn't catch fire until season three, when they went to filming live before a studio audience and Fonzie was promoted to being the star of the show.

Funnily enough, when HD was syndicated in the fall of 1979, my local station started off with the season three episodes, not seasons one or two. They eventually showed those episodes after they ran through seasons three through six.
