Why didn't they do a Niles/Daphne spinoff since it was obvious how people felt about the show Frasier? It seems like it would have been an easy 1 to 2 season show for the network with already built in fans.

it would be pretty boring watching Niles & Daphne doing more of the same stuff...but with a baby, I mean I love Frasier, but it went out when it had to...

I always thought there would be a spin-off series featuring Niles and Daphne and their extended family... but seeing that Niles and Frasier were so much alike, it really would have been the same show as Frasier... :lol:

I liked Niles and Daphne, but I don't think a spinoff with them would have worked.

Keep in mind Frasier was a spin-off so it was always highly unlikely that there'd be a spin-off of a spin-off.

I don't think it ever jumped. I think the writting got a bit stale when Christopher Lloyd wasn't there, but got better when he came back.

I agree. Especially in season 10 with the Niles' heart problem episodes, but they always managed to make a few classic episodes every season without Lloyd.

I always thought it would be great especially if they had Daphne's 3 brother stay with them.

I would love to have seen a spin-off with Niles Daphne and Baby.

The only thing is, you have to have LOTS of ideas for episodes...they probably didn't, and they may not have thought much of the idea in the first place.
