It seems like the MVP should have to lead the team to a very good record. The lakers record was only slightly better that average.

Why is the NBA on Steve Nash's d*ck? He shouldn't have won MVP again. Yeah i commend him for getting Phoenix the best record in their division without Amare, Joe Johnson and Quentin Richardson. Plus Kurt Thomas missed a lot of games. But i think Kobe should have won it considering his teammates suck and he got them to the playoffs this year when critics said they weren't gonna make the playoffs.
