The price at the pump is being felt in our wallets.

Crude oil prices were down a bit Monday. But on Friday they hit an all-time high of $75 a barrel.

Energy experts say we could see $4 to $5 a gallon by July. They blame supply problems on Iran and refineries making the change over to summer fuels.

AAA says the national average for a gallon of gasoline is now $2.91. That's up a quarter from just two weeks ago.

In New York motorists are paying $3.08 a gallon. That’s one of the highest prices in the country.

In Massachusetts drivers are paying $2.89 to fill up. In Vermont they are shelling out $2.88.

Congress is calling on President Bush Monday to investigate possible price gouging at the pump.

I look for it to go up another ten cents today or tomorrow as it has around this time the last four weeks.

I think where I am, it's $3.09. In a week, it could rise another quarter.

I gased up earlier today and it was $3.14. After 3 gallons, it was already $10. It made me sick to my stomach.

After my next paycheck, I'm fixing up my bike. It's getting ridiculously expensive to even enjoy driving anymore. Though I'm glad I'm not one of those morons who are stuck with a gas guzzling SUV. http://www.skyscrapercity.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Whenever I'm getting gas, I start talking to my car when it hits the $30 mark, I'm like, "Stop, please stop car, are you full now?" LOL

I've tried that myself. That's why I try to go to the pump when I owe at least $20.00.
