I think Jeffrey Tambor should have been on the show more often. All of the episodes he was in were just sooooo damn hilarious. I absolutely LOVE the one where Jack and Janet think he is a mental patient!!! OMG, I just laugh my ass off!!! The one where he is a dentist is pretty funny too. I also liked when he was on the Ropers. Tambor and John Ritter worked so well together!

they were funny, but they were more or less the same episode when he was on it. He played the same type of character every time. He was a crazy looney doctor, a crazy looney dentist, a crazy looney rich guy. It would have gotten old real fast if he was on it again. He is great on the Ropers though. Still similar but a little more different than the others.

I agree, Tambor was a riot in the mental patient episode. He is such an underrated actor.

I loved all the episodes with Jeffrey Tambor! He and Terry Kiser are my favorite guest stars of the show. One of my favorite quotes from him is from the episode "Moving On" when he says, "Shut up, room."

Jeffrey Tambor is a comedy genius who was alway excellent in Three's Company. Remember the "hat" scene?

It reminds me of the old Honeymooners show, when you would see the same actor playing different roles in different episodes.

It's always funny when a comedic actor is in different roles, but always as the same basic character. As soon as he enters the scene you start laughing.

Off topic, but I love your avatar, Otter :) I am so sad the show is ending on Thursday :crying: I am probably going to relive the glory of the earlier episodes through my DVDs tonight :D

But, yeah, I agree with you--Jeffrey Tambor was hilarious. Every episode he was in, I was laughing so hard. He's great :)

Wow, you're gonna splurge on all 4 sets at once? wooooo  Well, I guess the best time would be now...before they start pulling them off the shelves :( I'm picking up Season 4 tomorrow after work :D I'm really going to miss That 70's Show too :crying: I can't believe it's been running since 1998--I remember the day it debuted! (I had just turned 16) Wow....I can't believe how long it's been on. I'll certainly miss it.

You're welcome. :) It's a great song. Instant Karma, (Just Like) Starting Over, and Nobody Told Me are my other favorite Lennon songs. He's one of my favorite singers.

 I picked up Season 4 today. :D They didn't have the first 3 seasons. :( I'll probably get them soon though.

Me neither. It seems like only yesterday I was watching it for the first time. :( It debuted 2 days before my 19th birthday.

Jeffrey Tamblor to star with John Lithgow in new series on NBC this fall called "20 Good Years".

As for NBC's new comedies, 20 Good Years stars series veterans John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor as fiftysomething men who realize they want to change their ways and make the most out of the next 20 years of their lives. The comedy comes from Warner Bros. TV and Werner-Gold-Miller. Michael Leeson wrote the pilot.
