I never, ever, EVER double dip!! That's a term that will forever be associated in my mind with that episode, and ever since I saw it when I was young and what a big deal they made of double dipping, I'm kind of a Nazi when it comes to that.

Are we talking about chips and dip? ;)

I only double dip when I'm positive I'll be finishing the entire jar of dip or salsa myself. Otherwise, I don't dare.

I only, ONLY double-dip if it's MY container of dip/salsa that I'll be finishing myself. Double-dipping means that you put part of the chip IN YOUR MOUTH and bite off the first part with the dip, then put the rest BACK IN THE DIP for another go, putting your mouth-germs into the dip itself.

Noone but me should be subjected to THAT kinda torture...;)

I think its justified in certain cases if the only ones who will be eating the dip in question are your immediate family.

But I wouldn't reccomend doing it at a funeral...

It's like putting your WHOLE MOUTH...IN THE DIP!!!!
