Yeah the fact that him and Sherman was in the same scene on All in the Family, it would have been nice to have him appear on the Jeffersons. It wasn't like the actor was apart of a hit show while the Jeffersons was on CBS-lol So he defintely was available

I would say that the writers wanted to change George into an only child, but then they introduced the Gary Coleman character.
