Forgot....once in awhile, Wonder Years would replace Petticoat Junction! There would be news occasionally, too!

My dream channel is called RetroVision, and it exclusively plays various tv shows, (sitcoms, dramas, action shows, game shows, cartoons, talk shows, etc.) movies, music videos and commercials from the 1980s and very early 90s. There are even old news bulletins from that era played on there. The station bumpers and promos for "RV" are campy and retro in style, but not mean-spirited or ironic. (ie, "The crappy 1980s live-action tv show network" or whatever Adult Swim called it) It's basically what VH1's "I Love the 80s" would be if it were a TV channel...only without the overly-sarcastic, D-List celebrities making wry comments about everything.

Of course, this channel doesn't exist...but it's fun to think about.
