I never saw the finale (or if there even was one) and am curious to know how the show ended.

View Full Version : How did LHOTP end? Brian Damage 04-22-2006, 10:43 PM I never saw the finale (or if there even was one) and am curious to know how the show ended. Ireneparalegal 04-23-2006, 09:50 PM I never saw the finale (or if there even was one) and am curious to know how the show ended. There was a 2-hour movie that showed the town of Walnut Grove being blown up by the townsfolk so that the new land owners couldn't take control of their little town. There was a railroad company or owner that was going to take over the town and basically anyone who owned their home, land, business would have to answer to this man and his company. The towns folk didn't want this. So one by one they blew up the Oleson's mercantile, the church, the restaurant, etc. This movie was done way after the show ended. So, this was officially the end of LHOTP. BTW, did u know Linwood Boomer (Adam) is the creator of Malcolm in the Middle? This show is somewhat based on his childhood. I remember seeing Micheal Landon on "THE TONIGHT SHOW" once, before that movie aired, and he had clips of some outtakes from it. I just remember one that showed him walking away from the camera, limping and saying to himself "15 years on BONANZA and I STILL can't ride a *** **** horse"!  |
