There is so much to like and little to hate. This place is extremely addictive.

Addictive, I don't know what your talking about. I can quit anytime I want. Just not right now. ;)

It has become like a second home and I have made some really terrific friends there. So much so that the last two months have been the happiest I have had here at SO since joining three years ago. :)

yeah, i really don't come here a lot anymore. myspace takes care of the reasons i used to; i brought my same personality over there, which can be seen by countless people i know in real life now, and that dominates being here.

The friends I've met....some of whom are no longer here...but that's beside the point.

GREAT site and slightly (ok ALOT) addictive. Love the Good Times board, Sanford & Son, Trading Post, Chit Chat, Politics Boards. Solomon, Irene, Brian Damage and others keep everything interesting, funny and informative.

All the great friends I've made here keep me coming back.

Well, this is the message board I've been registered at for the third-longest that hasn't closed. I'm referring to how some message boards close after a few years...in the past, it seemed that message boards were never around for more than a year before they closed their doors. I registered here in 2002, and this board is STILL open. So I like how it has stayed open and everything.

I am a sitcom nerd...Nobody else that knows me IRL understands my love of TV. So, even though I rarely post at TV boards around here now, it's comforting to know that if I want to talk about a TV show, a board already exists for it. I usually end up talking to Sonny and Dr. Jazz about the TV shows I enjoy. :lol:

A lot of people have come and gone...It's refreshing seeing new faces around here, and "seeing" the younguns grow up. For example, Sarah was 13 the first time I talked to her, and now she's almost 17. You get the idea.

I don't post like I used to in 2003 and 2004... I still post here and all that junk, but I usually only post about 5x a day. When I come around here, I spend a lot of that time just lurking and reading posts. There is a lot of things to be read here, and I like that.

It's simply a good place to discuss anything and everything. I've never met anyone quite into the same things I am into (Well, not to my degree :lol: ), so it's awesome to talk to people here who do. :D

I just love everything about this site, the people. posts, etc. Ive bee here for 4.5 years and iv never not ad fun ( well except for a few times ) Al the friends Ive made here are awesome. I just love it!

All the wild and sensual women I have met in the trading foreum.

I also believe in the tooth fairy and "Nessie" will be located any day.

THE EMAIL NOTIFICATION feature

Great entertainment for hours. Something new is always happening here.

The wonderful people. The laughs. The drama. The sharing of our joys and sorrows. Giving and getting advice. Learning about just about everything. The close friendships. It's just an all-around great place to spend time. I imagine half of us in therapy if TJ ever folds up this tent.

Definitely the awesome people Iv'e met. I'm not going to sit here and name everyone of them, but they all know who they are. :heart: :hug:

I like finding out things about my favorite sitcoms that I didn't know or had
forgotten. Also the people are friendly and don't seem to mind if you make a
goof-up every now & then. I also like when they tell you about new shows
coming out on DVD.

The imdb boards are CRAZY. There are so many trolls there (especially on the River Phoenix board, for some odd reason. There's one guy who stalks everyone there and sends the same message over and over again about how he wants to overdose like River did). ohno:

I'm glad that everyone doesn't mind. I was mainly going back through them to
see if things I wanted to ask about had already been done. But then I would
find alot of interesting stuff and want to reply to it. There sure are alot of good posts here.

The sitcom boards are pretty active but one of the biggest problems with that site is there are a lot of trolls and fighting. I check out the IMDB boards for shows that no one really talks about here but I hardly ever post there. I think SO will always be the best place to talk about tv shows though.

I guess that it is the diversity of our members. I think that you are all very interesting! Someone mentioned addictive. Well how true that is!:lol: :wave:

I would def. say the people. I've met a lot of friends here. Also, I love being able to get news about schedules and when a show is coming on DVD through Pav.

I look forward to logging on to SO almost every day, even if I can do so for only a few minutes. This is a real community of people, some of whom I've gotten to know. You get a real sense right away, at least I did, of those you know you have formed a friendship with and who think as you do. I like SO also because I enjoy expressing my opinion and observations in writing on different topics, and the Chit Chat board (which I frequent most) gives me that opportunity. You can tell I like SO because I've been with it for almost a year, which is longer than I've stuck with most things. So yeah, as you can see, I like it here! :)
