Every contestant has "fan clubs" that get together for this kind of thing. Nothing new here.

Would you say the same thing if it was for any other contestant other than Kellie? I wonder if it was Kat's hometown that was doing it if you would say the same thing.

It is not the "fan clubs" that I object to. It is that a company is doing it for free. A company that is a Cingular supported company and is doing it for free. No one else gets free text messages unless you have it included on your Cingular bill. This resulted in 11,000 text messages for Kellie......

kellie isn't my favorite. Katherine is :)

I wouldn't believe everything you read when it comes to AI gossip. I bet these "free" calls are simply being paid for by a private group. No company would give away money to support this unless it is a small private company. And if that is the case, it wouldnt have much affect.

Besides, text messages are only a small fraction of the total votes. If you look at dialidol results (which is only measureing phone calls), Kellie is getting an average number of votes.

If this givaway appauls you, you must really be discusted with the VoteForTheWorst campains.

CTC Communication is not a small privately held company. I work in the Telecommunications field and they are a leading cell phone tower company. They own and operate numerous cell phone towers in North and South Carolina. One of their major offices is in Albemarle, NC!!

Sorry I thought you were a Kellie supporter. BTW Kat is one of my favorites too!! I would say this on behalf of anyone. I just don't think it is fair for someone to be getting free text messaging. It was a block party and they were giving out free stuff for people to turn out to vote. If it is not right for all then it shouldn't be allowed for anyone.

I honestly have never heard of the VoteForTheWorst campaigns! If it has been mentioned on here I don't remember it. I like Chris and vote for him every week. However, Kat is my second favorite.

Unfortunately it is true. There was an article that I found that actually had pictures of the people at the phone banks!! I think it stinks and wonder if their would be more outcry if someone like Chris or Taylor had the same thing happen in their hometowns. It's not just that I don't like Kellie, it's that it isn't fair for a corporation (Cingular)that is a major sponsor of AI to be assoicated with this. It makes it look like Cingular is rooting for one contestant over all the others.

i think it's wrong, but it's not kellie's doing, so she shouldn't be punished for it.

that being said, it's very wrong

is far less talented than most of the others and i do not think--- free # or not, that she has ANY chance at all of winning this season
