then why did she make such an big fuss? She was opening her big mouth trying to get JJ to hurry up and tell James & Flo abt his painting a nude woman. She really irritated me in this scene...she should have just shut up and let JJ be the one to tell their parents HIS WAY.

true. i can see that, but it doesn't make sense for her to have behaved that way only for her to be in agreement with JJ for painting a nude woman. She stated that she "saw nothing wrong with painting someone in the nude." It seems to me she should have helped JJ to explain this project to their parents or be ready to defend him if they had said no.
