I covered cheat websites from cheatcodecentral.com, cheatplanet.com, and freakycheats.com.

Does anyone know any other websites for The Sims cheats? Thanks.

I know a cheat to get as much money as you could possibly want!

Press Ctrl+alt+shift+c all at the same time ! then type in the word Rosebud then press enter!

then press ctrl+alt+shift+c at the same time and type !;!;!;!; and so on to get more money! I think you get like 1,000 dollars everytime you do it!

Alright, I got these all from another site, but most of them have been verified by me:

The Sims has also has many cheat codes built into the game. To activate the codes window you need to press:

[CTRL] [SHIFT] [C]

Then you can try the following codes:

ROSEBUD - Neat cheat that gives you 1000 bright, shiny simoleons!

!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!; - Each !; pair repeats the previous command. Using the ROSEBUD cheat first and then typing in a long line of !; will add many 1000's of simoleons in one go!
ROSEBUD; ; - Another variation on the Rosebud cheat... this time observe the space between the ';' characters. After typing this in, hold down the enter key and it will rapidly add simoleons to the account!
AUTONOMY (0 to 100) - This value determines how well the sims think for themselves. 50 is the default level, setting it at 100 would make the Sims autonomously do things that only a player could direct them to do normally.
BUBBLE_TWEAK (0 to -65) - This is the 'z' value to offset the thought bubbles. By default it is -65 so they don't poke through headboards!
DRAW_ALL_FRAMES (on/off) - When set to on, will draw every frame of animation regardless of how much it slows the game.
DRAW_FLOORABLE (on/off) - On by default, this draws the grid that you see in build mode.
DRAW_ROUTES (on|off) - This is interesting.. it will display coloured dots along the Sims path so you can see where they are headed. Useful for planning the design on your home a little better.
GRID (on/off) - Enables or disables the terrain grid.
GROW_GRASS (0 - 150) - Sets the level of 'green-ness' of all grass tiles on the lot. 150 is the maximum so if you've done some terrain work and want to get rid of the brown, set this value to 150.
HISTORY (file) - Writes out the family history of the current family. if file is not specified, the default is used which is FamilyHistory.txt
MAP_EDIT (on/off) - Certain tiles on a lot are 'locked' - meaning that you cant move objects, change terrain, build on them etc. Tiles around the edge of the lot, and those containing the mailbox are examples. This cheat locks or unlocks them.
MOVE_OBJECTS (on/off) - This cheat allows you to move any object, including the Sims themselves! This can be incredibly useful when your Sims are stuck. Also handy to move cars out of the way so you can collect the mail etc.
PREVIEW_ANIMS (on/off) - When turned on, this command allows you to click on any object and preview the animation for the selected sim.
ROTATION (0) - Sets a lot's rotation to default, as seen from the Neighbourhood screen.
ROUTE_BALLOONS (on/off) - Turning this cheat on allows you to see the Sim's intermediate route balloon information.
SIM_SPEED (-1000 to 1000) - Set the speed of the game. The bottom of the screen is like slow motion (like when you slow down a sim by hovering your mouse cursor over them). 1000 is the ultra fast mode.
SIM_LOG (begin/end) - Starts or stops the log file output. Written to SimLog.txt. The output is a tab-delimited file that shows all interactions that occurred. It shows routing time, interaction time, the change in each motive etc. Handy to see just how much time your Sims spend on the toilet!
SWEEP (on/off/none) - This displays the in-game profiler (whatever that is!). Click on the sweep window and use up/down to change events being profiles and left/right to change the milliseconds per tick.
TILE_INFO (on/off) - When set to on, you can move your mouse over a tile, click the Tile Info window and press [R] to view base object information.
WATER_TOOL - This handy tool allows you to add water features to the terrain on the lot. To put land back after ruining your lot <grin> use [CTRL] and the left mouse button.

Fulfill Your Sims Needs

If your sim is feeling perhaps a little depressed here's a cool way to 'reset' them:

Use the MOVE_OBJECTS ON cheat as described above, pick up your depressed Sim, hit the [DEL] key and flick back to live mode. Your Sim will now spawn in the centre of your screen with all of his needs stats reset to how he started the game! Be sure to save the game before you do this because any skill points gained since the last save will be wiped when you use this cheat!

Extra Bonuses

If you have built up the skills and relationships of a Sim to a high level then they will progress up the career ladder very quickly. You can use this to your advantage. Once you've peaked at your chosen career, just get fired and then re-hired. You have to start at the bottom of the ladder but because you still retain all of your skills you will storm up the career ladder (as long as you keep your Sim in a good mood). With every promotion comes a nice big fat bonus which should work out more than the money you lost by taking the lower pay.

Skip The Bills

Here's another little bug in the game that you can use to skip half of the household bills... Keep a bill unpaid until the next lot get delivered. When the mailbox flag is raised again, instruct one of your Sims to pay the first lot of bills. Off he trundles to the mailbox and whoosh, the new lot disappear!! If you keep doing this you'll only need to pay every other bill!

Get Free Houses!

You've got a brand new family with a paltry sum of $20,000 and you want to put them in that $100,000 mansion. Here's an easy way... First locate the file that corresponds to the house in question :

...\The Sims\UserData\Houses\housexx.iff

There is a house.iff file for each lot on the neighbourhood, numbered accordingly. For example, house01.iff, house02.iff etc. Make a copy of the file and put it somewhere safe. Now in your neighbourhood screen, bulldoze the house and buy the empty lot with your new family. Next copy that house file back, overwriting the one that is there. This will put your mansion on the lot without the family having to pay for it! You'll need to quit the game and restart to see the new house in place.

[LL] With Living Large installed you need only flick neighbourhoods back and forth to see changes to the houses, you do NOT need to quit the game. Also note that with Living Large, if you are not in the default neighbourhood you need to locate the houses directory under the appropriately numbered UserData directory as there is one for each neighbourhood.
