View Full Version : Snake from the Bone Crushers
Hiya,
I was looking up the girls from the fictional band on the episode "Bubba's House Band", and just to see if they'd acted in other things. Well, when I looked up Lisa Michelson, who played "Snake", it said she died in 1991.
I was sad because I thought she was funny, and awfully young to die. Does anyone know what her cause of death was? I've scoured the internet looking for it and can't find a thing.
Myles 04-20-2006, 10:55 AM Yeah, I wondered the same thing and none of my searching efforts came to anything. She died around 33 then, give or take a year - too young indeed. She was still working on television during that year, an episode of "Baby Talk" according to IMDB.
Here's some pictures of Lisa Michelson as Snake during that episode.

I checked several sources and came up with nothing. No cause of death. Yup, I like that episode too! Too bad that Iola couldn't "jam" with them!
Great pics Myles!:)

Haha, I loved the nickname Snake gave Iola in that episode. Bean pole! Then Thelma joins in on the fun and addresses Iola that way too.
Sorry to dredge up one of my old threads, but I was reading this on IMDB, which led me to the Wikipedia entry for Lisa:

MikeLutton 05-13-2007, 08:26 PM u know how realiable wikepedia is hope i spelled it right it can be false bs is it on any other news sites.is this really true
Well, sometimes I'm alittle wary of the info on Wikipedia, but in Lisa's entry they listed some personal information i've not seen anywhere else (like her husband's name, some other stuff). So it seems like whoever wrote her piece must've had inside info.
Myles 05-15-2007, 09:01 PM Well, it certainly would explain things. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
Has anyone seen Robot Carnival? I've never been a fan of anime, but I'd check it out if it was available to me.

You're welcome :)

I haven't. Although I do own a copy of the Fox version of "My Neighbor Totoro", which Lisa did some voice acting for (which coincidentily made me look her up, and was surprised to learn it was the same girl that played "Snake"). Disney redubbed it and now Dakota Fanning plays the role Lisa did (I like Lisa's performance better actually).
I wholeheartedly recommend any of the Studio Ghibli movies, if you get the chance. They're not like most anime and are totally amazing.
Scoobiedoo30 05-17-2007, 12:20 AM thanks for the pictures
