View Full Version : Did you all see the little info abt the GOOD TIMES lyrics?
Ireneparalegal 04-19-2006, 12:49 PM TVLand has these little annoying things they show when the shows' credits are being squashed to the side. The other day they talked abt the GT lyrics. They played a part of the theme and they had the words go along with the song. it showed HANGING IN A CHOW LINE; they showed that and then the commentator said something to the effect, "always wondered what they said in that part of the theme?"
So, i remembered we had a debate awhile back abt that part of the theme song. TVland confirms that is what is said.
Brieannas21 04-19-2006, 01:39 PM Not too long here a radio station had people call in to see if they knew the words at that point in the song to GT. And people were calling in with all kinda lyrics it was hilarious.

I used to think it was Having a challenge. When I got older, I knew it wasn't that, but I still couldn't figure out what it actually was.
retrochick9 04-20-2006, 01:50 AM I had NO IDEA what that line was until I started coming on the message boards a couple months ago. I guess I can't really laugh at the things those people said cause I couldn't even come up with a guess, lol.

Brian Damage 04-22-2006, 11:52 AM I always thought it was hangin' in the Jury. I mean that would constitute a "Good Time," what criminal wouldn't want a hung jury? lol

To this day that's what it sounds like. I never heard of "Hangin in a chow line" and I grew up in the projects. It was just called the "welfare line"! "I saw your momma on the welfare line!" I was sooo humiliated!!!
