I think he meant it more in that he doesn't like going there because he doesn't like to constant argueing. Everyone has their beliefs and like sticking up for them, but that board can turn you off to politics in general. I used to go there a lot often too, but have stopped because I hate how politics brings out the worst in people. I'm not even that interested in politics in real life anymore because I realized there's no point in argueing all the time. I rather spend my time doing things that make me happy not angry.

But this is just my own personal opinion. Some people like dukeing it out, so that's what the board is there for and why it was created, so the constant fighting and bickering would stop here on the main chit chat board.
