I know I that I never wrote to you before, so you don't know me of course, but I was looking at your have list, and I must say that you have a lot of the same likes or taste that I do, I started to collect Timmy + Lassie and Lassie's on my TIVO brand DVR of off Satellite Feed using S-Video and digital stereo, but my efforts were misguided, I think it was Loren that said for the best quality the way to go is Satellite DIRECT-2-Standard-Play DVD using the the timer function, and I would have to that I agree, because the TIVO is MPEG-4 so I am told and a DVD-Recorder is VOB (no significant compression being that it is MPEG 2) http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/vob.cfmso to make a long story short, I would be more than happy to try to burn what I have, I think that the project you are working on is very worthy.. These Timmy & Lassie's especially - are treasures out of the past. When I was a boy I really believed that Lassie or the other Collies that played Lassie were borderline genuis-dogs, when I watch it today I see how easy it is to fool a child, LITERALY, no exaggeration Lassie (at least with Timmy + Lassie), NEVER and I mean NEVER does anything, and at all, it's either so fake, it's embarassing, or we believe Lassie does something amazing every 5 minutes because Timmy says so repeatedly. It's really hilarios when Timmy gives Lassie a "list" of places to go to seek emergency help. Again, I would be very happy to help, I noticed that teh religous station that plays Timmy + Lassie, they start the telecast order over again, + then again, full circle. Lassie (in color) was or is Discovery Kids Channel..

I,VE TALKED TO A FEW AND THEY SAY THE SAME THING,,THE SATIONS THEY GET IT FROM PLAYS ALOT OF REPEATS..IM STILL RECORDING,SO WHEN IM THROUGH IM GOING TO SEE WHATS MISSING,SO WHEN U CAN GET A LIST UP OF WHAT U HAVE AS THE REST OF US IS DOING THE SAME,,THIS WILL BE THE BIGGEST DVD SET EVER I THINK..LOL 500 + EPISODES

Probably not the biggest ever.

The complete Gunsmoke set I authored has 635 episodes and the complete Peyton Place set I authored has 514 episodes.
